This version of Anticello 2018 is the demonstration of the great evolutionary potential of Grechetto. After years of aging in the bottle, it is able to amaze with its freshness, integrity and a pleasant smoky note, fruit of natural evolution. It comes out only in magnum version because this format allows the best evolution of the wine for the perfect relationship between content and oxygen. Probably one of the best wines in the cellar.

“Anticello” is the name of the word (locality) where the ancient monastery and vineyard stands.

GRAPES: Grechetto 100%
PRUNING: double inverted and guyot.
HARVEST: More harvests in the first fortnight of September, manual in crates with selection of the grapes.
VINIFICATION: Destemming and crushing. Soft squeeze. Long fermentation 80% in steel and 20% in wooden barrels.
AGING: 7 months in steel, frequent bâtonnage.
BOTTLES: 120
COLOUR: Deep straw yellow with gold reflections.
BOUQUET: Yellow fruit, citrus fruits, wild flowers. Territorial.
TASTE: Fruity, savory, fresh, slightly tannic, soft and powerful. Fascinating.
