"Ascheria" is the name of the progenitor vine of Merlot which does not have French origins but comes from the Basque Country.

GRAPES: Merlot 100%
PRUNING:Spurred cordon (2 bud)
HARVEST: Second ten days of September, manual in crates with selection of the grapes.
VINIFICATION: Destemming and spontaneous fermentation with whole grapes in 500 liter tonneaux.
AGING: 12 months in tonneaux, 7 months in steel.
BOTTLES: 3300 Magnums
COLOUR: Austere purplish .
BOUQUET: Fruity, black cherry, cherry, small red fruits, ample and velvety spice. Important .
TASTE: Fruity, soft, spicy, full and velvety. Wonderful.
